One of the most special items I own is a game-worn East Carolina University Pirates football jersey. It was given to me by a friend who had attended a game and got it from a player. The jersey had grass stains and sweat marks, but to me, it was a treasure. I could almost feel the intensity of the game just by holding it. I framed it and hung it on my wall. Every time I look at it, I'm reminded of the hard work, dedication, and passion that the players put into each game. It's a piece of history, a tangible connection to the team's journey on the field.
